Welcome to Our Technology Wiki!

Hello everyone!!!! Thank you for joining this wiki!!!
Let me tell you a little bit about my ideas and objectives for this "class": I want this wiki to be a stepping stone for other teachers to start experimenting with technology and to start including it in your every day lessons. My main goal is to help you come up with ideas that you can create and later use in your classroom.
I am, by no means, a technology expert, I couldn't be farther away from that. I am just curious enough to experiment with those technological resources which I believe can improve, enrich and update my instruction. It might be important to point out that this is the first time I ever create a wiki and lead an " online" class, so please be patient if something does not work out. You can always email me if you have questions, comments, suggestions or need help. My email is florencia.albanesi@gmail.com .
The amount and variety of technological resources out there is unbelievable. The content of this class is only a selection based on what I have found so far and of course, based on what I am familiar with.
Basically this is the dynamics for this class: each week you will have one or two resources to explore and experiment with. There is an assignment per week as well: to brainstorm ideas to use those resources (you will post to the discussion page) and to create and publish one of your ideas in your personal page in this wiki. Simple enough, right?

Let's start!!!

You will find a navigation toolbar to your left in which you will find our personal page ( which I have created for you) and the assignments for each week. First you will read the page with the work for the week. Once you have experimented with the topic of the week, you will post your ideas on how to use that week's software. In addition, you will create a file and you will post it to your personal page.

For more help on how to start, go to the " How to..." page in the navigation bar to the left.
